In 1996, Natural Lodge Cano Negro began their operations with only 10 rooms and the idea to attract only sport fishing clientele.
Over time, our vision has changed allowing us to take advantage of the great potential that is the Cano Negro Wild Life Refuge. With our new focus, we now offer a wide variety of options to the visitors of Costa Rica such as: bird watching, photography, the observation of flora and fauna, wildlife adventure, wetlands discovery and cultural exposure. With the additional activities offered, arose the need to expand our infrastructure, which resulted in the construction of our 42 rooms, large restaurant, swimming pool, with bar and on-site gardens, where you can look the most impressive birds.
